I have a few projects to do to improve my kennel, as I do them I’ll put pictures and descriptions here.
The first is our new whelping house, it’s a maternity hospital for dogs. It’s a 12 by 8 foot building, it’s insulated, heated, cooled, plumbed with a sink for washing hands and pups. It has two whelping bays that are 4 by 6 each, they are waterproofed and each has a drain so pups and dam can be as clean and hygienic as possible. All of this on a raised foundation with 110 and 220 electricity run to it. It’s also has a 12 by 6 foot overhang, to allow for storage on the back.

The whelping house is finished, now I’ll move on to the big pen. As you can see from the pictures I’m not much of a painter. I did learn not to thin glossy oil paint with mineral spirits right before you finish.
This is our new kennel, it’s making things much easier to manage.
